Mike Walters
President & CEO

Mike Walters began his career with the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, where as part of the marketing team, he launched Pancrease MT®. In 1996 he formed a company to support emerging biotech and pharmaceutical companies in building their U.S. commercial presence. Early clients included PathoGenesis (TOBI®) and  MERZ (Mederma®). In 2001 he started SourceCF, where he remained until its sale  to Eurand in 2007. Through 2010, he focused on building U.S operations and the launch of ZENPEP®.  Today, he is involved in a number of businesses, at the Board and operating level, including Kailos Genetics and MVW Nutritionals.

Melanie Vandiver
VP of Operations

Melanie Vandiver brings an operational focus and expertise in pharmaceuticals. Her past responsibilities have included  training and sales operations. In addition, she managed the development of marketing and educational materials, and was responsible for professional relationships. Melanie will continue to provide her expertise in these areas to the MVW Nutritionals.

Clay Vandiver
Chief Financial Officer

Clay Vandiver’s professional career has focused on the financial industry, leading a large commercial bank for 27 of his 35-year career. In addition, Mr. Vandiver has served his community by committing time to numerous Foundations and University Boards, and multiple Chamber of Commerce Boards throughout the State of Alabama.

Clay’s experience makes him well suited take a leadership role in financial aspects of the Company, as we grow in revenue and new products, and enter new market segments both domestically and outside of the United States.

Suzanne Michel
Nutritional Consultant

Suzanne Michel is a Registered Dietitian with almost 40 years of experience. An author and co-author of numerous publications, abstracts and chapters, she has held faculty appointments at medical schools and presented at numerous national and international professional conferences and meetings. Recipient of several honors and awards, including the Golden Apple Award from the National Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, for her work in CF education and patient care. Until November 2012, Suzanne was an Advanced Practice Dietitian at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Today, she serves the CF Community on a consulting basis, continuing to engage in patient care and education.

Zachari Breeding, MS, RDN, LDN, FAND
Probiotic Consultant

Zachari Breeding, MS, RDN, LDN, FAND is a registered, licensed dietitian and professional chef in Philadelphia. He is the owner and executive chef for The Sage: Nutritious Solutions, a personalized nutrition and off-site catering company. He holds lectures nationwide, both at the University and corporate levels, on a wide array of nutrition-related topics.

Zach attained his Culinary Arts Degree at The Restaurant School in Philadelphia, a Master’s Degree in Clinical Nutrition from NYU, and studied abroad in England, Italy, and France.

Within the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, he is a contributing author to Food and Nutrition Magazine and the Stone Soup blog. He holds experience as the chair of the Latinos and Hispanics in Dietetics and Nutrition member interest group and the chair of the Cystic Fibrosis Nutrition sub-unit of the Medical Nutrition Practice dietetic practice group.

He has been acknowledged for his efforts in the field of nutrition and dietetics by being granted Fellowship by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, acknowledged as a Food and Nutrition Hero from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, receiving the “Unsung Hero” award by the cystic fibrosis community’s Wishes and Dreams organization, and the Distinguished Trinko award from LAHIDAN. He is also the author of The Slice Plan: An Integrative Approach to a Healthy Lifestyle and a Better You.
